West Garfield Street Extension, Contract 2-2026, City of New Hampton, Iowa
Overview
The Project includes the following Work: Construction of West Garfield Street from Western Avenue to Croell Drive including a twin 8-foot by 6-foot box culvert. Construction will include general site grading, new water main, rerouting of existing storm sewer to the new culvert with new street intakes, new 7-inch PCC or 7-inch HMA street paving, sidewalk improvements along the north side of Garfield Street, and erosion control at the downstream and upstream ends of the box culvert. The Work will be substantially complete on or before November 20, 2026 and will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before May 1, 2027
