Water Supply and Treatment Improvements, Division 1 - ASR Well No. 7 Conversion, Contract 26-01, City of North Liberty, Iowa

Overview

The Project includes the following Work: Installation of approximately 5,440 feet of 12 inch raw water main from the existing Well No. 7 site to the water treatment plant site. Work includes trenchless and trenched water main construction along with minor paving improvements. The opinion of probable cost for the Project as of April 29, 2026, is $1,460,000. CONTRACTOR and OWNER further recognize OWNER will realize benefits if the Work is completed prior to the time specified for Substantial Completion. Accordingly, OWNER and CONTRACTOR agree that as an incentive for early completion, OWNER shall pay CONTRACTOR $550 for each day prior to the time specified above for Substantial Completion (as duly adjusted pursuant to the CONTRACT) that the Work is substantially complete. The maximum value of the early completion incentive will be limited to $50,600. The Work will be substantially complete on or before November 20, 2026, and will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before May 31, 2027.
