Logan Street and Cleveland Street Improvements, Contract 3-2026, City of New Hampton, Iowa

Overview

The Project includes the following Work: Reconstruction of utilities and pavement in the residential neighborhood along Logan Street (Linn Avenue to Alta Avenue) and along Cleveland Street (Linn Avenue to Locust Avenue) in New Hampton, Iowa. Project includes removal and replacement of sidewalk, driveway approaches, parking lot, and street paving. Project also includes removal and replacement of sanitary sewer, sanitary sewer manholes, water mains, water main appurtenances and hydrants, storm sewer, storm sewer intakes, and water, sanitary and storm sewer service connections. Traffic control and staging will be required to keep residential property access as much as possible. Project roadways will be constructed over modified subbase, which will require Class 10 excavation. Other minor items of construction includes clearing and grubbing, topsoil strip/salvage/import, seeding, erosion control, construction survey, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) management, temporary mailboxes, and coordination of solid waste collection. The Work will be be substantially complete on or before November 17, 2027, and will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before December 10, 2027.
