Lake Guckeen WMA Wetland Restoration
Overview
Approximately 24,100 cubic yards of common excavation with approximately 6,100 cubic yards of topsoil stripping and spoil placement for construction of proposed wetland and storage swales. Approximately 27 acres of native seeding. Approximately 6,300 linear feet of dual wall agricultural tile with sizes ranging from 8-inch to -18inch. Approximately 6,500 linear feet of single wall agricultural pattern tile. Removal of existing wetland outlet structure and construction of proposed wetland outlet structure. The awarded contractor must guarantee the tile work under the contract for three years after its completion against any fault or negligence on the part of the awarded Contractor. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 177.41 to 177.44 and corresponding Rules 5200.1000 to 5200.1120, this contract is subject to the prevailing wages as established by the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry. Specifically, all contractors and subcontractors must pay all laborers and mechanics the established prevailing wages for work performed under the contract. Failure to comply with the aforementioned may result in civil or criminal penalties.
