Cameron Indoor Tennis Interior Updates

Overview

The Project is a multiple prime bid (with an option of a combined bid) which includes but is not limited to the following highlights of Work:• Contract No. 1 – General Prime Construction for the construction of interior improvements including indirect sports lighting integrated with interior light-reflective liner system, and other interior specialties, to meet Substantial Completion and Final Completion in accordance with the contractors bid but Substantial Completion shall not be later than October 2, 2026; including:o Replacement of 12-foot tall perimeter wall protection screeningo Install light-reflective interior liner system over and around existing steel structure and roof-hung indirectly facing LED lights at each of (4) existing tennis courts, as part of an integrated lighting system.o Removal and replacement of column protection pads at steel columns.o Replacement of (3) sections of divider curtains between the (4) existing tennis courts, As an Alternate Bid. No 1.o Add interior insulation between the reflective liner panel and the existing steel substrates, as an Alternate Bid.o General project management, meetings, schedule control, and project reporting.o Two year warranty period, and liquidated damages for non-compliance with schedules.• Contract No. 2 – Electrical Prime Construction for the construction of interior improvements including indirect sports lighting integrated with interior light-reflective liner system, and other interior specialties, to meet Substantial Completion and Final Completion in accordance with the contractors bid but Substantial Completion shall not be later than October 2, 2026; including:o Remove existing fluorescent tube lights.o Provide new LED indirect LED light fixtures, including installation of related conduits and conductors and controls.o Compliance with the overall project schedule.o Two year warranty period, and liquidated damages for non-compliance with schedules.• Contract 1 includes Alternate Bid 1 – Divider Curtains • Contract 1 includes Alternate Bid 2 – Interior Insulation Bids are requested for the following Contract: General Construction Contract 1 and Electrical Construction Contract 2 and a Combined Contract 3Owner anticipates that the Project’s total bid price will be approximately $520,000 for the combined cost of Contract 1 and Contract 2. The Project must be Substantially Complete no later than September 18, 2026 with Final Completion no later than October 02, 2026.For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
